Introductory Courses
Learn the basics! In this course Dr. Meg Martinez will cover a number of important topics including: Social Identities: What are they and how do they affect individual experiences? Privilege: What is it and who has it? Racism: How discrimination goes beyond the individual experience and how it affects us all. This course also focuses on the importance of developing Critical Thinking Skills.
Advanced Courses
For those who have completed the Introduction to Workplace Development course and want to continue on with their learning.
INSTITUTIONAL BIASES
We will continue to explore the historic roots and destructive effects of racism while taking stock of our own internal biases. Attendees will consider ways to actively engage in creating more equitable spaces.
